MyDriftLAB: Sleep Intelligence Without a Wearable
You know you sleep badly. You wake up tired. You toss and turn. Something wakes you at 2am and you never figure out what it was.
Most sleep solutions focus on your body — heart rate, breathing, REM cycles. But they ignore the one thing you can actually change: your environment.
MyDriftLAB is different. It turns your bedroom into a personal sleep lab using nothing but your phone.
The Missing Piece in Sleep Technology
Existing sleep trackers tell you what your body did while you slept. That is useful, but it does not answer the question that matters most: why did I sleep badly?
Was it the noise from the street at 2:15am? The temperature drop at 4am? The light from the hallway? The neighbor's dog at midnight, every single Tuesday?
MyDriftLAB answers those questions.
How It Works
MyDriftLAB uses your phone's built-in sensors to monitor your sleep environment all night long:
- Noise detection — identifies and classifies environmental sounds (traffic, snoring, conversation, sudden loud events)
- Light monitoring — tracks changes in ambient light that may disrupt your sleep
- Temperature estimation — monitors environmental temperature shifts
- Movement detection — identifies restlessness patterns and wake events
In the morning, you receive a plain-language report explaining exactly what happened, when it happened, and how it likely affected your rest.
Privacy by Design
Here is the most important thing about MyDriftLAB: all audio processing happens on your device. No recordings are stored. No audio is transmitted. Ever.
This is not a policy. It is architecture. The on-device machine learning model classifies sounds locally. Only derived metrics — timestamps, noise levels, disruption categories — are synced to generate your reports.
Your bedroom is private. We designed the technology to keep it that way.
Sleep Experiments
MyDriftLAB includes a unique feature called Sleep Experiments — structured seven-night tests that measure whether a specific change actually improves your sleep. Wondering if a white noise machine helps? Run a seven-night experiment and get data, not guesses.
The Rest Score
Every morning, you get a Rest Score from 0 to 100 combining environment quality, disruption intensity, and how well you followed your wind-down routine. Over time, the app identifies patterns you would never notice on your own.
